CCC - Chicken Coop Construction

With quickly growing chicks in the bathtub, it's time to get going with their future home.  As I was doing chicken research, I collected ideas for our chicken coop.  One of my main concerns was safety.  My worst nightmare would be to find a chicken dead for something I could have prevented.  I have basically designed the Fort Knox of chicken coops.  Even the word "coop" doesn't fit anymore.  Maybe chicken condo or luxury resort.  

As usual, I am the designer who sketches things and then hands them off to my husband (the engineer) to build.  I still have a sketch of our son's treehouse that I made on a napkin and it is remarkably close to the finished product.  Wood and cement blocks quickly appeared in our backyard.  Let the construction begin!
