Laundry Room Transformation COMPLETE

I recently took on a project redoing my laundry room.  This wasn't a planned project, but my washer died. (OK, that doesn't do it justice.  It didn't just die....I opened it one morning to move the clothes to the dryer and it was SMOKING.  Yes, my washing machine was smoking. OK, now you get the picture....dramatic death)

In order to get a new one installed, I had to clean out the entire laundry room since I use every square inch in my old house.  We had remodeled our master suite (which includes the laundry room) in 2005.  At the time I was going through my "Tuscany" phase, so our house was shades of golden yellow, sage green and brick red.  I have since moved on, but the laundry room had not come along for the ride yet.  So now I have everything pulled out of the laundry room and the last remnants of Tuscany are screaming at me.

Here's a few before pictures....

After the washer was delivered, I headed to Sherwin Williams to pick up some paint.  Our house has moved on to shades of green and blue, so I decided on a navy blue laundry room with teal stripes (because everyone needs stripes in their laundry room, duh).

It was more work than most normal person would spend on their laundry room, but I have to say I love it.  I may not even mind doing laundry now.

The AFTER....
