The Elf is back!

Do any of you have an Elf on the Shelf?  We don't follow a specific story and I bought an elf that isn't the "official" Elf on a Shelf.  Our elf follows his own rules!!  He always shows up the night of  December 1st and Santa takes him back to the North Pole on December 24th.

Since I love everything Christmas, I had to start the elf tradition.  I started when Alejandro was 3, but the past two years the elf has gotten a little more creative.  The first few years the Elf brought little gifts every night.  Then I started to see some of he naughty things an elf could do....perfect for a then 5-year-old.  I'm still collecting ideas for our elf this year, but here is a look back at some of the past years.
