Fall arrives!!
When summer gently changes to fall, I always have more urge to work on creative projects. If I lived in the northern states this would make sense because there would be more time inside, but I am a transplanted Florida girl. Our fall consists of temperatures in the 70's or 80's, not exactly something that sends me running inside. Maybe it is just a carry-over from the first 24 years I lived in the north. Maybe it is the group of holidays in a quick succession through fall and winter. Whatever it is, I always savor this time of year. My studio will soon become a hodge podge of half-completed projects. I will typically have paint somewhere on me (usually in a spot like the underside of my arm where I won't notice it until I get to my yoga class). My fingernails will get ragged and my cuticles dry. My house will be just a little neglected because I would rather spend time in the studio. Those are all good things to me.
Let the fun begin! And if you see me with paint on the underside of my arm, you will know it has been a good day.
